Bike to Work Week was organized by the Alternative Transportation Subcommittee of the Green Ribbon Advisory Board, a committee of the City of Regina.

 As the Green Ribbon Advisory Committee was dissolved, a new organization for the Bike to Work Week was required. A non-profit corporation under the name of Bike to Work Regina was set up. This organization is open to any cyclist who would like to help in the organization of the next annual Bike to Work Week.
