About
Our mission is:
To make cycling to work and school safe, convenient and fun for people of all ages and abilities in Regina. Through partnerships, outreach and events such as Bike to Work Week, we will advocate for a better cycling environment that promotes safety, physical activity, health, equity, and environmental sustainability.
Bike to Work Week was organized by the Alternative Transportation Subcommittee of the Green Ribbon Advisory Board, a committee of the City of Regina.
As the Green Ribbon Advisory Committee was dissolved, a new organization for the Bike to Work Week was required. A non-profit corporation under the name of Bike to Work Regina was set up. This organization is open to any cyclist who would like to help in the organization of the next annual Bike to Work Week, and the organization’s other projects.
We are now organized as a non-profit corporation called “Bike to Work Regina”. This corporation is a membership based group that will take on the work of organizing an annual bike to work week, as well as other cycling related advocacy in Regina. Membership in the organization promises to include joy, work, and friendship. We are always looking for volunteers as there is always much to be done.
